  • How much does it cost
    Our Solar systems range from €6,475 to elaborate systems up to €12,000. There is no one size that fits all. It is not like buying a TV, where bigger is better. It is built to suit your needs, in the most cost effective way possible. The size, or cost, of your installation very much depends on your households use of energy, can you off set the energy and is your roof and it's orientation compatible. The best way to know your exact price is simply get in touch and we will do all the hard work
  • Is everyone entitled to the SEAI grant?
    YES, currently, the SEAI are allowing grants on home Solar installations of up to €2,400. We will guide you through this process. It's easy once you know how.
  • How do I know if my home is suitable?
    If you send us a message with your Eircode we can tell you. In our experience, we can find a solution for almost every home in Ireland.
  • How will I know how much I will save?
    Every installation is different and the return will vary slightly. However, in general, you will save up to 50% on your home electricity bills each month. So let's say you are happy to pay an electricity bill of €300. Your electricity bill will become in the region of €150. Our team will talk you through the exact savings you will make each month
  • What are the financial benefits
    If you decide to install PV panels, you are doing 2 things. Firstly, you are saving money on your electricity bills, but more importantly, you are protecting yourself against the rising costs of energy. In 2023, it probably the best time ever to make the move. The SEAI are offering grants of up to €2,400 AND the Irish government have agreed to remove all VAT from the panels and equipment used. That means, that in 2023 your return on invest happens a LOT quicker.
  • Do Solar need direct sun to make electricity
    No, not at all. The PV Solar panels need natural day light in order to produce electricity
  • How long does it take to install solar panels?
    Within a day we are usually complete. It is not a very messy job and you leave your home as we found it.
  • How long do solar panels last?
    We use components with at least 25 years guarantee or more
  • What kind of maintenance is required for solar panels?
    Actually virtually none. The rain in Ireland is more than enough to rinse down the self cleaning material used on the surface of all our panels.
  • Can I control this system with my phone?
    Of course. You get full visibility, in real time, of what the system is producing, saving your home and the system health. It is all controlled via an app for iPhone and Android devices.
  • Will this replace my electricity and I could live off the grid?
    You are still connected to the grid when your Solar system is installed. When the system in not producing enough of energy, the grid takes back over and supplies you. However, yes, you could still live off the grid. But the way solar works most efficiently is when you are still connected to the grid. For example, in the evening time around 11pm, it is dark outside, so no energy is being produced. The battery has just hit 1%, but you still want to finish your Netflix movie. This is where you use the energy from the grid.
  • Can I sell my electricity back to the grid?
    In short, yes, you can absolutely sell your excess back to the grid. In order to do this, you will need an EirGrid smart meter installed, but they are now in 90% of Irish homes.
